Product Description

Grade 316/316L is molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steel. The higher nickel and molybdenum content in this grade allows it to demonstrate better overall corrosion resistant properties than 304, especially with regard to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments. In addition, Alloy 316/ 316L provides excellent elevated temperature tensile, creep and stress-rupture strengths, as well as outstanding formability and weldability. 316L is the lower carbon version of 316 and is immune from sensitization; therefore, it is very frequently used in heavy gauge welded components.

Threaded pipe cap refers to a pipe fitting that is threaded on the pipe end or installed on the external thread of the pipe end to cover the pipe. Threaded pipe caps can be divided into single-head threaded pipes, double-headed threaded pipes and cone-head threaded pipes according to the thread form; according to their forms, they can be divided into large and small heads, tees, crosses, 90° elbows, 45° elbows, internal and external tooth elbows, hexagonal plugs, hexagonal fillers, hexagonal external tooth joints, round pipe caps, etc. The threaded pipe cap can generate a large axial force when tightened; it can easily realize self-locking; it has small dimensions; it is simple to manufacture and can maintain high precision. Threaded pipe caps are suitable for construction and maintenance in industries such as petroleum, chemical industry, medicine, electric power, aerospace fire protection, metallurgy, shipbuilding, gas, nuclear power, urban construction, plumbing and environmental protection.
