Product Description

Alloy X has excellent resistance to reducing and carburizing atmospheres, making it suitable for furnace components. Due to its high molybdenum content, Alloy X may be subject to catastrophic oxidation at 1204°C. The alloy has good high temperature strength coupled with oxidation resistance up to 1093°C. This Alloy is readily weldable using matching filler wires. After severe forming, fabrications may be annealed at 1177°C, 15 minutes per 1/8″ of thickness, rapid air cool.

Thread tee in the production process is divided into forging and casting two kinds, forging refers to the ingot or round rod heated forging forming, after the lathe processing thread, casting refers to the ingot melted into the model of the tee, to be cooled after. Because of the different manufacturing process, the size of the pressure is different, and the pressure resistance of forging is much higher than that of casting.
